The Grumble Theater is a new Twin Cities theater company dedicated to the amplification and expansion of female voices. We seek to elevate women of all backgrounds through our work. Through productions that work in rigorous pursuit of these ideals, The Grumble Theater smashes the framework of patriarchal performance with the presentation of extant and emerging voices in the American theater. We seek to delight, challenge, and provoke our audiences through adventurous and imaginative theater. We are passionate about producing work by artists who are using their unique perspectives to urgently question the cultural and theatrical status quo.
