In October 2017, about 40 residents from the River Wards neighborhoods of Port Richmond, Bridesburg, Fishtown and Kensington met to discuss the creation of a new community theatre group in our section of Northeast Philadelphia.
From this and subsequent meetings, the River Wards Theatre Company was born. The goal of our theatre company is to provide quality live entertainment in our area, and to create opportunities for company members to establish and develop skills in the theatrical arts.
