Tinkerspace Theatre

Tinkerspace Theatre is an indie theatre company in London Ontario that builds and supports relationships between playwrights, creators, and actors. In other words, we write and produce new plays! Since 2014, we’ve written and fully produced seven new plays. Our shows have hit the stage at the London and Toronto Fringe Festivals, Paprika Festival, London One Act Festival, Dark Crop Performance Festival, and LDN Convergence. In 2019 Tinkerspace Theatre traveled across Canada to appear in the Hamilton, Edmonton, and Vancouver Fringe Festivals. In addition to putting on full shows, we also host script workshops for emerging writers. Eventually, these workshops became our Play Labs. The Play Labs are workshop readings of new plays written by local writers. In addition, we’ve won two Brickenden Awards for Outstanding Original Script.
