Southwest High School has a commitment to excellence in theatre, a tradition for more than forty years, and our productions and performers have been honored with numerous Hennepin Theatre Trust SpotLight awards. Southwest students have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of theatre arts and in every area we encourage students to work with integrity and professionalism.
Our mission is to develop artistic expression and authenticity in storytelling while building community in our school and surrounding Minneapolis neighborhoods. We are proud to be a leader of the arts in the Southwest community.
