Carolina Youth Theatre (CYT) began in 2007, in Clayton, NC, as Clayton Youth Theater.
Over the past 12 years, CYT has grown significantly and earned a strong reputation for the quality and professionalism of our productions. Most importantly, we’ve touched the lives of hundreds of students and entertained thousands of patrons in our community.
In light of this growth, we announced our new identity as Carolina Youth Theatre in early 2019. This shift allows us to increase our reach and impact as we expand our programming to serve more students and families in the Triangle.
While our name may be different, our exclusive focus on student education and our commitment to high quality, affordable performances and classes remains unchanged.
