The etymology of the word Theatre is “the seeing place.” It is a mirror of who we are individually, collectively, past and present. But most importantly, it’s about what is possible, which is to say, theatre is also about the future. We at StageOne Family Theatre know that everyone should have consistent and frequent access to this essential form of storytelling.
Stage One is the initial step countless young people take into a relationship with the theatre. And there is a direct correlation to consistent exposure to theatre and positive development, ranging from social-emotional literacy to academic performance.
