The mission of The Misfit Players is to entertain audiences in the community through theatrical arts such as variety shows, concerts, and original works. We give opportunities to the next generation of young theatre artists as well as more "seasoned" performers. Without our audiences and patrons, we would not be able to do what we love or show our appreciation to our supporters through performance art. The Misfit Players is not an exclusive cast of people, but rather a group of individuals who are brought together to create quality productions in the community.
David LaTorre created The Misfit Players while attending the SC School of the Arts at Anderson University. David wanted to create a production company that produced their own shows which would give more opportunities to people interested in performing. He holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and is excited to continue moving forward as the Executive Director of The Misfit Players.
