Plant City Entertainment began as Plant City Community Theater in 1980 and incorporated in 1994 to become Plant City Entertainment, Inc. (PCE). After performing in several venues in the area including the train depot, Hillsborough Community College, The Trinkle Center, and the Cornerstone Building, PCE was able to purchase its current home in 2009 at 101 North Thomas Street, across from the old post office and near the library, just west of downtown Plant City.
PCE’s 14-member volunteer Board of Managers is a diverse group of local residents dedicated to bringing high quality entertainment to the community and surrounding areas. In addition to continually upgrading the theater building, the Board ensures that new and classic musicals, great comedies and plays are brought to life onstage with the help of our community of volunteers. PCE partners with other regional theaters and performance groups to pair the best talent and material to meet our commitment to bring and maintain the arts in the greater Plant City area.
We present a minimum of four stage shows a season, typically in November, February, May and July, with other entertainment dispersed throughout the calendar year. We’d like to invite you to become involved in one of our upcoming productions. Whether you want to watch a show, become a member, work behind the scenes or be front and center onstage – you are always welcome at Plant City Entertainment!
