Since 2002, Daydream Theatre has been creating and producing multiple original shows every year in both Rhode Island and New York City. Daydream prides itself in showcasing diverse, quality plays each year while keeping performances fresh with new talent for every role. All actors have a fair shake at auditions with no pre-casting. To date, Daydream holds five Rhode Island MOTIF Awards with an impressive ten nominations, as well as two Planet Connections Awards and five nominations. Additionally, of the three new works Daydream produces every year, one of those plays are performed off Broadway, and shows no signs of slowing down. Making live theatre available to everyone has always been an important part of our mission. Daydream is a not for profit company and no one involved with any of our performances are paid for their work. We do this because we love doing it!
