Theatre is a transfer program housed in the Communication Arts, Fine Arts and Humanities division. Transfer programs are for students who plan to continue their education at a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree. Some students take theatre courses to fulfill the fine arts requirement for a transfer degree; others take theatre courses as part of a plan to major in theatre. Many students also take theatre courses as electives.
The theatre program will prepare you to transfer to a four-year theatre program or for work in professional or community theatre groups.
