SINCE 1969, THE MISSION OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUSIC THEATRE HAS BEEN TO PRODUCE QUALITY MUSICAL THEATRE PRIMARILY WITH LOCAL TALENT THROUGH THREE VENUES: STARS THEATRE RESTAURANT, HARVEY AUDITORIUM AND BMT SCHOOL OF THE PERFORMING ARTS. ARTISTS OF ALL AGES ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE ON STAGE OR IN THE SEATS THROUGH THE KIDS GO TO THEATRE PROGRAM. THE BAKERSFIELD MUSIC THEATRE SERVES THE PEOPLE OF BAKERSFIELD AND THE KERN COUNTY COMMUNITY.
