Since 2007, Queens Theatre has had the privilege of being involved with the CASA (Cultural After-School Adventures) program. In that time, we have provided well over 3000 students in over two dozen schools in the Queens community with the opportunity to express their creativity and opinions through the act of creating and performing an original play. The students learned all about the intricacies of theatrical language and techniques but even more importantly they discovered free expression, gained problem solving skills and built community through teamwork and responsibility to the group.
