Cast Academy

Cast Academy is an award-winning performing arts academy based in Wath-upon-Dearne, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, with brand-new, purpose-built studios designed to inspire creativity, confidence and excellence. We provide exceptional training across the performing arts, offering classes in musical theatre, acting, drama, singing, dance, ballet, tap, jazz, commercial, acrobatic dance, speech, and performance for students of all ages and abilities.

Our passionate team of experienced industry professionals nurtures every student through high-quality group classes and personalised one-to-one tuition, helping each performer develop technical ability, creativity, confidence and a lifelong love for the arts.

At Cast Academy, students have the opportunity to work towards nationally recognised qualifications through London College of Music (LCM), the International Dance Teachers' Association (IDTA) and Victoria College of Music & Drama (VCM). We hold examination sessions twice each year, enabling students to gain valuable qualifications that contribute UCAS Tariff points, supporting progression into further and higher education.

Performance is at the heart of everything we do. Students enjoy the opportunity to perform in our annual theatre productions, as well as our annual showcase performances, giving every performer the chance to develop stagecraft, confidence and experience in front of live audiences.
