City Circle Acting Company

City Circle Theatre Company was formed in the summer of 1997 as City Circle Acting Company and incorporated as a non-profit organization on January 5th, 1998. In March of 1998, City Circle was formally adopted by the Coralville City Council as Coralville’s community theatre. In 2011 City Circle became the resident theatre company of the new Coralville Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA). In 2014, City Circle merged with the City of Coralville and became a program committee of the CCPA. In 2018 the name was changed to City Circle Theatre Company. A Board of Directors conducts and manages the affairs of City Circle and is advised by and works closely with CCPA staff and the Coralville Arts Commission. Tax deductible contributions can be made to City Circle through the Community Fund of Johnson County.
