About Superior Arts Youth Theatre
Superior Arts Youth Theater (SAYT) encompasses a long history of theater for youth in Marquette. Formally known as the Marquette Arts and Culture Center Youth Theatre (2001-2011) and Lake Superior Youth Theatre (2011-2015), we have now formed our own 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Located in Marquette, Michigan, SAYT serves the central Upper Peninsula of Michigan and is open to youth ages 3-18 years. SAYT produces a series of performances each year ranging from variety shows and community events performances to full productions at the historic Kaufman Auditorium, Northern Michigan University’s Forest Roberts Theater, and the Lake Superior Theater Boat House.
