Forestgate Community Theatre is based at Forestgate Presbyterian Church in north Colorado Springs. Our vision is to provide excellent and affordable theatre to families within the Colorado Springs community, to bring together those who have a passion for theatre, to share and hone our talents, gifts, and skills either on stage or back stage, to grow personally and relationally (and have fun while doing so), and to glorify God throughout the entire process.
It all began in the fall of 2003 with the pilot program Smatterings, a study in theatre skills, techniques, disciplines and performance taught and directed by Joan Funke. From this program Forestgate Community Theatre was born and will be celebrating its 12th year of theatrical excellence with the performance of Mary Poppins.
