Ludwig Herzer was an Austrian librettist and lyricist, best remembered for his work with composer Franz Lehar on the operetta The Land of Smiles, from which the famous tenor aria 'Dein ist mein ganzes hearts', known commonly in English as 'You are my heart's delight', came. Apart from his works with Lehar, on which he collaborated with Friz Löhner-Beda, little else is known about Ludwig Herzer's work.
