Anthony King

Anthony King is an Los Angeles based writer of the stage and screen. In his time not spent writing, he can be seen in his work as a comedian, and was even nominated for an Emmy for his work in writing a benefit special for Comedy Central. King was also the artistic director of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York, but is no longer working in this role.

His writing also took a turn on the stage when he and his childhood friend Anthony King teamed up to co-write the books for two musicals. The first being the lesser known Guttenberg! the Musical! which found its home Off-Broadway. Following this obscure work, the team turned out the Tony Award nominated book for Beetlejuice in 2019.
