Adelheid Wette was a German writer and librettist. She was the sister of the composer Engelbert Humperdinck and wrote the libretto for the opera Hansel and Gretel (along with her ​​husband Hermann bet ) and his Snow White and the Seven Kids. Her works are also in the German Children's Songbook included (Perthes, Gotha 1903).
