Lee Hall
Lee Hall is a playwright and screenwriter best known for the musical Billy Elliot for which he won a Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England in 1966, he still lives in England and is married to film director Beeban Kidron. His successful screenplays include Billy Elliot, Pride and Prejudice, War Horse and Victoria and Abdul.
