Philip LaZebnik is an American screenwriter and producer. His screenplays for films include Pocahontas, Mulan, The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, The Lost Treasure of the Knights Templar. In 2017, he and Stephen Schwartz adapted The Prince of Egypt for the stage and the musical opened TheatreWorks in Palo Alto, California before premiering in London's West End in 2020. LaZebnik has also written the books for the musical Fairy Tale" (with songs by Stephen Schwartz) and Oktoberfest: the Musical" (with music by Harold Faltermeyer). LaZebnik's brothers, Ken LaZebnik and Rob LaZebnik, are also both screenwriters.
