Biography
Ben Norris
Ben Norris is a British poet and playwright from Nottingham, England. His work as a writer and actor have appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival multiple times; The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Family in 2015 (2015 IdeasTap Underbelly Award) and Autopilot in 2022 (Best Shows of the Year award by The Stage). Norris has had work commissioned by BBC Films, BBC Drama, BBC Radio 4 and the Southbank Centre, and his first short film, commissioned by Channel 4, was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award. More so, Norris has written the monologues for the West End show The Choir of Man, where he debuted the role of The Poet from 2017 to 2022, when it was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play.
