Kit Buchan is a writer, lyricist, and poet. He works alongside composer Jim Barne as a musical theater writing team. Buchan’s poetry has appeared in Clinic, The White Review, Magma, and The Best British Poetry. Buchan was nominated for the inaugural Jerwood poetry fellowship. Buchan & Barne were awarded the 2020 Stage Debut Award for Best Composer/Lyricist and the 2018 Stiles & Drewe Mentorship Award.
