Jim Barne is a composer and orchestrator. He studied Music at King’s College London and Voice at the Royal Academy of Music. Barne is one half of Buchan & Barne, a musical theater writing duo. Barne was the winner of the London Chamber Orchestra’s Young Composer competition. Together, Buchan & Barne have been the recipient of the 2020 Stage Debut Award for Best Composer/Lyricist and the 2018 Stiles & Drewe Mentorship Award.
