Colman Domingo is an American actor, writer, and director. On screen, he is known for his roles in Fear the Walking Dead and Euphoria, as well as appearing in the films Lincoln (2012), Selma (2014), If Beale Street Could Talk (2018), and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom (2020). His early Broadway roles include Well (2005 play) and Passing Strange (2008 musical). He went on to receive a Tony Award nomination for his role as Mr. Bones in the musical The Scottsboro Boys (2011). He reprised the role in the 2014 West End production, receiving a Laurence Olivier Award nomination. In 2018 he wrote the book for the Broadway musical Summer: The Donna Summer Musical.
