Biography
Norm Foster
Norm Foster is a renowned Canadian playwright and has been the most produced author in the country for the past 20 years. Born in Newmarket, Ontario, Foster studied Radio and Television at Centennial College in Toronto, as well as the Confederation College in Thunder Bay before traveling across Canada for 25 years as a radio host. In 1980, he took part in his first play and was inspired, two years later, to write his professional debut Sinners. His second play The Melville Boys has become Foster’s most successful, having been produced all over Canada and the United States, including a successful run Off-Broadway. He has since gone on to write over 55 plays.
