Kreidler co-founded the August Wilson Monologue Competition, which integrates Wilson’s plays into high school curriculums. As a playwright, he wrote an adaptation of the movie Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner. He also wrote a musical with Nikki Sixx based on Sixx’s music.

As a director, Kreidler spent three seasons at Pittsburgh Public Theater. His work there included productions of Macbeth and Twelfth Night. He also served as dramaturg for a 2004 production of Gem of the Ocean on Broadway. Kreidler frequently collaborates with director Kenny Leon, including five seasons as Associate Artistic Director at Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company. He is based in the Pittsburgh area.
