Gary Barlow is best known as the lead singer of the British pop group Take That. He is a successful songwriter, musician, and producer, and has been the lead judge on The X Factor UK and most recently Let It Shine.
In theatre, Barlow worked with Eliot Kennedy to write the music and lyrics for Finding Neverland, the stage musical based on the film about J.M. Barrie's life.
For his contributions to the arts, Barlow was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2012, and won the Music Industry Trusts Award. Both honors were inspired not just for his artistic talents, but also for his philanthropic work with charities throughout the UK.
