Itamar Moses is an American theatre and television writer, most recently recognized for The Band's Visit, for which he won a Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical.

In addition to his writing credits, Moses has also taught playwriting at both Yale University (where he earned his bachelor's degree) and at New York University (where he earned his MFA).
