Admiral von Schreiber

A high-ranking, uniform-clad officer in the German Navy, Admiral Von Schreiber is tasked with absorbing Austrian officers into the Reich’s war machine. Unlike the thuggish Zeller, the Admiral is a consummate, cold professional who carries out his duty with absolute, icy authority, arriving personally to deliver a non-negotiable military ultimatum that forces the Von Trapps into immediate exile.

This role requires a mature actor with an imposing, rigid military bearing and a cold, calculating stage presence. The actor must command immediate attention and project an air of absolute, state-sanctioned power. This is a non-singing role.
