Analysis
Albazar used to live in Turkey, and was a confidant of Prince Selim. When Selim fell in love with one of the ladies in his harem, Zaida, she was forced to leave, and Albaza accompanied her. He is now living as a gypsy in Naples, and is Zaida’s close friend.
