Jess is a friend of Fred, Ebenezer Scrooge’s nephew. She and a few other friends join Fred for some parlor games at Christmas and they are watched, unseen, by Scrooge. Jess is playful and fun, cheerfully reminding Fred of the rules of the game when he digresses.
