(RAY'EL THE PLAGUE-BRINGER (RAY) alone. He is dressed is ornate robes and carries is grand scepter staff--like Jafar. He stands in front of a box. MADDY and FISHFACE approach, out of his line of sight.)
MADDY Why is my dad dressed like Jafar?
FISHFACE He's like the head of Obedient Media back on earth, a grand priest here on Beta Reticuli. You have to be very careful; still, he's not your dad, he's part of the hive mind.
MADDY Okay.
FISHFACE Maddy, it's really important you understand.
MADDY I said "okay."
FISHFACE You sounded a little distracted.
