Show revolves around the tangled love lives and misunderstandings of a Roman household in A.D. 90. Roman patricians routinely pay to consult Heliodorus, a powerful Persian Wizard, on matters of love and fortune. However, life becomes much more confusing once his slave, Diomed, falls in love with his daughter, Maia. (This show was a precursor to A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum by Stephen Sondheim.)
