Synopsis

Donna Summer - the “Queen of Disco” and “First Lady of Love”, but at what cost? As a humble girl from Boston, she proved she had a voice from heaven and performing became her lifelong ambition. Determined to prove herself, Donna moves from Boston to Germany to Los Angeles as her career took off with the hit single “Love to Love You Baby”. She became the icon of the era and the inspiration for every disco diva that followed in her footsteps. But the stakes are high when you reach the top. With her fate in the hands of a string of influential men, Donna must fight to maintain control and independence. Featuring a string of hits, such as “Bad Girls”, “She Works Hard For the Money”, “No More (Enough is Enough)”, and “Hot Stuff,” this heartwarming, disco-filled jukebox musical is a fitting tribute to one of the greatest voices of the twentieth century.
