Overview

Synopsis

It’s 1878 and William Sawyer has just invented something that will change the world forever - the Incredible Automatic Electro-Current Incandescent Illuminator Device.

He has invited a small group of influential businessmen to observe this new invention in action.

If he can gain their financial support, William and his wife Anne, will be set to make millions of dollars.

But things quickly go wrong, destroying any chance of fame or fortune, all thanks to a mystery man.

All of the characters in this musical comedy are based on real, but mostly forgotten people who all played an important part in contributing to the invention of the electric light.
