John recently re-emerged on stage to embrace leading roles as Oscar Madison in "The Odd Couple" at Tabard Theatre, The Chairman in "Drood" at Foothill Music Theater, and Amos Calloway in "Big Fish" with Sunnyvale Community Players - as Mr. Frank in "The Diary of Anne Frank" and Flip Benham in "Roe" with Foothill College Theater Arts - in cabaret with Palo Alto Players and Foothill Music Theater - and workshopped a new musical with Z Space. John’s been a musical theater director/music director/vocal director (Stanford - "A Chorus Line," "Jesus Christ Superstar," "West Side Story," "The Music Man," "The Fantasticks") and improv and sketch actor/writer (Mumblypeg and ComedySportz).
