Www.nictenbroek.com Raised in Berkeley, California, Nicolaas began his musical education with piano lessons at age 9. Nic. was teaching and playing professionally while still a student at Berkeley High School. ​Nicolaas accepted a scholarship to The Juilliard School, the world leader in performing arts education for gifted musicians. There he majored in performance and composition. Between his studies and performing professionally in both jazz and classical settings, Nic. was also the recipient of the prestigious Lincoln Center Award. Along with scoring film and Network TV, Nicolaas has just finished composing Opera Girl.
