Synopsis

There’s mayhem at Buckle Manor. Tom Buckle has gambled away his brother Billy’s life savings and has 24 hours before loan shark Pizza Face Petrillo comes to collect his debt. Their wealthy grandfather has just died, but scoundrels Tom and Billy know they’re not likely to get any of his estate. Fortunately, Tom has a scheme: Billy will pose as their respectable cousin Lisa, the only other surviving member of the Buckle family. All they have to do is kidnap the real Lisa, fool the neophyte family lawyer, dodge the drunk maid who thinks the garbage disposal talks to her, and avoid suspicion from a beautiful brunette claiming to be Buckle's former nurse. Lie, Cheat, and Genuflect is a classic farce with standout roles for actors with strong comedic instincts and a knack for physical comedy.
